In our after school football club we are developing lots of skills.
Physical Skills:
- Ball control – Dribbling, passing, and shooting.
- Coordination – Improving balance and agility.
- Speed & endurance – Developing fitness through running and drills.
- Strength & flexibility – Enhancing muscle strength and preventing injuries.
Technical Skills:
- Dribbling – Learning to move the ball effectively.
- Passing & shooting – Developing accuracy and power.
- Defending – Tackling, marking, and positioning.
- Goalkeeping – Reflexes, positioning, and ball handling (for goalkeepers).
Tactical Skills:
- Game awareness – Understanding positioning and movement.
- Teamwork – Learning to work with teammates.
- Decision-making – Choosing the best option under pressure.
- Sportsmanship – Playing fairly and respecting opponents.
Social & Personal Development:
- Confidence – Building self-esteem through achievement.
- Discipline – Following rules and instructions.
- Communication – Talking and listening to teammates.
- Resilience – Learning to handle wins and losses positively.
