Welcome to Dosbarth Glas everyone!

About Us

We are a class of six happy pupils and two very happy members of staff; Mrs Griffiths and Mrs Alford.

Resources

We have individual resources for the children so they will not need to bring a pencil case. The children are also provided with a water bottle at school, which is washed daily. Pupils will need a coat as our outdoor area is accessed daily.

Class Work

This term our topic is 'Heroes'. Last half term we looked at superheroes. This half term we will be looking at people who help us and heroes in our community. We are currently working on a mini project to celebrate the schools 50th Anniversary. This will run alongside our literacy, numeracy work and cross curricular activities.

Lunch time

The children are allocated a slot at lunchtime in their bubbles.  The children may choose to bring a packed lunch or there is an option of a hot school lunch. School dinners are £2.55 per day (£12.75 per week).

Fruit Tuck

At present there will be no tuck trolley, the children may bring fruit from home to eat at playtime, if they wish.

Please remember grapes are prohibited.

PE

Our session for PE is a Monday afternoon. Please can the children wear suitable clothes and shoes to school for these sessions.
