About us
We are class of 23 inquisitive pupils in years 4, 5 and 6 with two super supportive staff members who help to provide the best learning experiences possible.
We believe in preparing pupils for bright futures filled with happiness and success, encouraging learners to be ambitious, confident, creative and ethically informed.
We have adapted our learning environments and created a timetable that incorporates a wide variety of activities and tasks to ignite imagination and develop diligence or all learners, in the safest ways possible.
Meet the Team
Mr Saunders - Class Teacher
Mr Saunders is our resident expert when it comes to all things Maths, Science and History. If there's a tricky number problem to solve, a fascinating scientific discovery to explore, or an exciting historical story to uncover, Mr Saunders is always ready to help. He loves sharing his passion for learning and making lessons engaging and memorable. He's also known for telling the occasional joke, some are brilliant, some are a little bit cheesy, but they always get a smile!
Miss Bennett- Learning Support Assistant
Miss Bennet is a quick thinker who loves a challenge, especially when it comes to solving tricky Maths problems. She is incredibly organised and helps keep everyone on track, making sure things run smoothly both in and out of the classroom. Miss Bennet enjoys helping children learn and achieve their best, always bringing energy and enthusiasm to everything she does. One of her favourite parts of the school year is going on school trips, especially the exciting adventures at Llangrannog, where she loves joining in the activities and making lasting memories with the children.
Resources
We have individual resources for the pupils so they will not need to being pencil cases to school.
Snacks
Pupils are encouraged to bring a piece of fruit to school for snack. We do not allow grapes as a snack in school.
Children are encouraged to bring a personalised water bottle which is sanitised daily. They are free to drink water at their leisure. We do not allow pupils to bring fizzy drinks to school.
Lunch
Pupils are allocated a time slot in the hall where they eat a hot meal from the canteen, or they are welcome to bring a healthy packed lunch. School dinners are £2.55 per day and must be paid in advance through the RCT online dinner payments. Should you need a code for your child, please contact Mrs Berenyi, our school admin assistant.
PE
This term pupils will be participating in sessions with Sporting Marvels. They will need to wear sports kit and trainers on Thursdays.
